Gold Bash Meeting July 7th.

We had our monthly committee meeting today, as there is now only 3 months before the Bash. Things are starting to come together and we think this years Bash will just as good or even better that previous years.
On Friday night we will be having our traditional Fish dinner, thanks again to Bloodgold 2. Followed by Gold Trivia questions with winner or winners team prizes. This will be followed with entertainment by Mark Oliver singing music from the 50's to 80's. Mark has been doing this for many years now around the pubs and clubs. This will be held in the court yard around a big fire pit.
On Saturday a lot of info about 4X4 set ups and gear with lectures. There will be other gold related lectures held over the weekend as well. ( more info as they come)
Mark & Ronda from Gold Prospecting Australia will be taking groups out for prospecting and detector training over the weekend. This is a very popular even, so you will need to book in very early to get your spot.  info@goldprospectingaustraliua.com.au

There will be gold panning for the Big Kids & Little Kids, with bags of gravel wash, containing gold and gem stones for those that want to try their hand at panning.

There will be our very popular Raffle and Auction for those looking for a bargain.

Anyone that is planning to come to the Bash and wants to stay at the Caravan Park you better book in NOW. There is only one cabin left and 12 powered sites. Still plenty of non-powered site left. Lakeside Caravan Park 03-54357303.
