Coil cleaning
Have you cleaned the inside of your coil cover lately?
I had three layers of tape on mine, but it still manage to get dust in it.
Tried an earth magnet on the dust.
The dust below the lighter was attracted to the magnet.
Might change my ways next time and not tape it up, so I can just take it off easily and remove any dust.

Re: Coil cleaning
Not using tape sounds like a good idea Slim, you probably would have been getting false signals and chasing shadows from the magnetic bits.
