Re: when and where
Ok guys the PMAV AGM is at Creswick in their town hall on Saturday 24th Oct.starting at about 1pm. The reason that most of the info is not up on the PMAV website about the AGM or the Bash is the website is getting a complete overhaul.

Your Invitation to Attend the
PMAV’s 35th
Annual General Meeting, Auction
and Social Weekend
11th October, 2015
Dear PMAV Members, family and friends,
This year we are holding our 35th Annual General Meeting on Saturday 24th October and a social day on Sunday 25th at Creswick in the heart of the Goldfields.
Our AGM will start at 1pm with the program highlighted with a talk by our guest speaker Professor Ian Plimer, well known geologist and free speech advocate.
Of course you will also hear about the activities of your Association in the last 12 months and, very importantly, the next 12. We will update you on all current issues and invite discussion. The meeting will be followed by our major fundraiser for the year – our annual auction.
Attached is the preliminary list of goods available at our auction. This is one of our few sources of income and we need this to be successful. There will be many fun, cheaper items included on the day – and no doubt some silliness to entertain you!
There is camping available locally, either at Hammon Park on Water Street or at the Creswick Calembeen Lake Caravan Park. Not surprisingly, we will meet for dinner in one of the pubs on both Friday and Saturday nights.
On Sunday we expect to see the hills and gullies around Creswick covered in prospectors – many of whom will be pleased to share their experience and knowledge with newcomers. Non-members are welcome to come along to any part of the weekend to find out more about prospecting and the PMAV.
The Hepburn Shire is putting out the welcome mat for prospectors – come along and appreciate their hospitality. We hope to see you all in Creswick, Rita Bentley, PMAV PresidentDear PMAV Members, family and friends,
We hope to see you all in Creswick,
