Converting Garmin to oziexplorer
Hi Everyone
Does anyone know how to convert the Garmin .img file into Oziexplorer ce .map file?
i can do it with GPSmapedit but the file is going to be 3.8gig and i only have a 4 gig card
Is there a way to compress it and work on Oziexplorer ce or is there a different program that will make it not as big
Thanks Mick

Re: Converting Garmin to oziexplorer
G'day Mick, I have not tried this out yet but the Garmin maps I think you are talking about are 'Vector' format and Ozi uses 'Raster' maps. There are free vector to raster conversion programs available for download, just google it and you should find a few to choose from.
Also have a read through this gps forum and you will find heaps of answers.
