hi evrybody ! can anyone tell me if there a club or a group in sydney? i am very keen to have a go (only problem i am not geardup yet)

The Sydney Prospector's Home Prospecting Club doing their thing near Bathurst.

Most clubs don't have a website... there's usually a list of clubs available through any prospecting supplies store. As you seem to be in the Sydney Area: The Sydney based "Prospector's Home Prospecting Club" has had a few changes. The current President is Fred Krebs and he's very helpful if you have any questions. The benefit of joining a club is that you can share your interest in prospecting with other people and join in on their monthly trips and meetings. Member ship is usually quite low (most clubs charge close to $20 annually for membership) but this also adds insurance for you which is a necessary requirement of any club these days.

Meetings commence 7.30pm on the first Tuiesday of every month.
Venue: Parramatta Band Club Hall, Off Marion St. Down Jubilee Lane, Harris Park.

NSW Sydney Prospectors Home Club 02 9890 2600 i called that number , and been told that there are another number they just dont have it handy , i can call another time to get it
