The "Elite" and the 4500
We've had a chance to test out the elite over the last couple of days and so impressed we purchased another 2 for our 5000's.
The combination of the Elite and 4500 was outperforming our 5000's in both small and slightly larger deeper gold targets up to 1.2g.This included tiny nuggets down to 0.1g that were missed by the sadie and 8"mono commander on the 5000's.
Once we used the new coils on our 5000's saw us matching the results or better.
The test area was quartz/ironstone gravels with a red clay base underneath. The area is known to hold nuggets just slightly deeper than we have been able to reach with the previous range of coils we've tried.Coils used in this area are the sadie,8"mono,11"mono,12"NFA,14NFA,16NFA all round. This is an area we might only find 1 nugget between us for a full days work.
With the new Elite over about 6 hours of testing we found 17 nuggets all up with the biggest 1.85g,3 above a gram and the rest subgrammers.
All were found deeper than previous nuggets of equal size by about 1-2 inches on average. The area had previously produced around 40 grams of nuggets up to 2.5grams.
The 3 elite coils all performed identical, ran very quiet with no hint of falsing.Response to ironstone was very mellow which made it easier to pick out the targets.Target response was not sharp and slow sweep is a must.Quality control is excellent on this product, well packaged with a bonus camo cap.
Settings were Rx 10,Stab 8 on the 5000's fine gold,Rx 8,Stab 8 on the 45 enhance.
My overall impression was that the Elite coil is the first definite improvement in coil technology in many years. Those with 4500's are in for a real treat.

What a brilliantly compiled report and info on your experiences with the elite coil on the 2 top of the range GPX's ...
Wish I could find something like this on the new NF's , thanks for taking the time to do this Steve ...

Re: The "Elite" and the 4500
Hi Wayne
The coil weight is listed as 1005g,we moved the box back a tad and the bunge forward.Seems fine and coil slides fairly easily.
Got out today in an area very well known and found some nuggets in 4 different places for 2 grams.Definitely pulls up missed deeper gold.

Re: The "Elite" and the 4500
Just noticed on Coilteks site they claim the elite goes 1-2 inches deeper on average so matches up with the results I'm getting.

Hi Wayne
Yes not sure as there's 2 weights being advertised so I'll weigh it tomorrow myself and post.

Re: The "Elite" and the 4500
My second outing with this coil, found 2 peices totalling 2.3 grams. The 1.7 gram nugget was at 11 inches (enhance timing) and the 0.6 gram nugget at 4-5 inches (sensitive smooth timing). Missed these peices earlier in the day with a Minelab 11 inch mono. This was a patch that I found in the past with the gp3500 and revisted the ground with my new gpx4500. Week earlier at another patch got a target with the 11 inch mono, decided to put the coiltek coil to compare signals. It was stil there and was a 0.5 gram nugget at an inch down.

Re: The "Elite" and the 4500
Small correction to my post. The 0.5 gram nugget was to be read as 0.05.

Re: The "Elite" and the 4500
I don't post here to much but always have a read
I have the Elite coil on a 4500 with a BZ booster and dual speakers
This is by far the best coil I have used but It did take me one trip to work out the best settings
I have only done two trips since and have payed for the coil better that two times over with my finds
My best find was a 3g bit at around 18" but this was very quiet ground
I have used the 14X9 Nuggetfinder as my coil of choice Gain 13 stab 8 in Enhanced but I can't use the Elite on the same settings
Have toned it down the the same settings you have posted but I go much slower that I have before
