Gpz is 10/10
I'm struggling to fathom how anyone can fail on this detector. I started my trip approx 9 or 10 days ago and am killing it out here. The place is looking like a plague of large rabbits have hit the goldfields. I'm getting up to 40 nuggets a day ranging from 0.04 to 12 grams. Nothing big yet but they'll happen. I'm racing through some old areas in a hurry to get to some deep ground North. My specimen container is filling rapidly too. Yeah the gold is smallish but I'm getting it everywhere. I'll get pics put up but at seasons end. Managed to use normal gold mode in one area too. Now that is some serious horsepower in quiet ground.
Wow what a detector I love it. Surely I'm not the only one. There's gotta some people out there reading my post and thinking shut the #~£# up ha

I agree Jase, the two short trips I've had so far, the Z is awesome, can't fault it once you distribute the weight factor
I think we should keep quiet about tho Hahaha!

Hi UTBN and goldstrijk, You made my day. I will keep my GPZ now , and clean-out Victoria. That will take me a couple of years, so, don't be scared that I'm coming near you in W.A.

I thought you returned or sold your GPZ as you were not happy with it, but seems you have not.

Hi, I did not even take out my first GPZ I was so spooked by other people, so it had to go, and I went back to the 5000, however, when I went out with a friend with a GPZ he called me over and told me that he had a "soft-dig-me" signal. I went over that undug target with my 5000 and could'nt hear a thing, it was a 0.9gmr. That was it!. So, I got another GPZ. On Coilteck's test patch my new GPZ worked brilliant.

Re: Gpz is 10/10
Clean out Victoria? How many life times do you think you have Herman? Pay attention to when I say,"95% of all gold detected",from every Australian state so far,was found to be within the first foot mark & over ground that's been previously surfaced by past generations,on more occasion than one.
As detectorists,we're still only scratching the surface,of what's still awaiting below,to be found.
Good on ya Jase, well done. Good news indeed.
Cheers Kon.

I guess it cost you money to find out some advice and opinions are not what they appear to be.
Best of luck now.
Cheers.

The Zed is the king. I had a $7500 day yesterday including a 3.8oz monster and a 22 grammer. Pretty much using factory settings. Ill post the vid up soon .
Re: Gpz is 10/10
Finally some members begins to understand the true potential of this new metal detector, I never had any doubts, I also noticed that all those forum members who criticized the Zed, have stopped talking, perhaps they have tried or bought one.
Cheers

Good news and bad. The bad first. Car was pulling to the right whilst driving a track. Looked out window while driving thinking a flat. Bloody sunglasses blew off me head. What a b**tard I paid 10 000 rupiah for them
Ok good news is I'm killing it still. Surely this can't continue. Not even 3 weeks and I've got over 450 small nuggets. Won't be going to bali at seasons end. Mexico for sure. Andale andale areeeba

Re: Gpz is 10/10
The GPZ is also growing on me UTBN . First trip I got 42 grams, with a few 3-5 grammers and mostly small nuggies, but from depth. Went out on Monday for two hours and gridded a very small 50m x 100m area I flogged with the 4500 for a dozen nuggets. The clay in the area did cause ground noise moans with 4500. The GPZ pinged the ironstone encrusted nuggets from 15 cm to 45 cm. I swear that swinging the GPZ near bushes, trees and rocks I carefully swung the 4500 over gave me nuggets the 4500 did not hear. I got a handful for 15 grams in a little over an hour. I can't wait to get back and go over the outer area where the 4500 scored some of the not far from the reef gold that is in the area. cheers Tributer

The 2 descriptions I like are it is like a sdc on steroids and it is like walking around with a 5000 with multiple coils and multiple timings at the same time.

Hi Giancarlo and Maureen lets hope I will also rank the GPZ at 10 out 10 but Im sure it will be a challenge to match Jasons finds. Well done mate.
I presume you and Maureen are still out and about here in Vic so we must make a time to meet up again. I'm still working a lot but now I have to make the time for prospecting. Can't have this thing sitting in the cupboard.
cheers bill

G'day All,
Well I just received another couple of pics from Jase, he is really having a Ball with his GPZ. He has found 600 nuggies for 3 weeks. Thanks for sharing again Jase.
These are the cleaned ones and there are more being cleaned.
Thanks again Jase for sharing.
