GPZ Boffins a ? please
Hi to the Zed's user's
To those in this group who had also purchased the now redundant SDC2300!!!!! are you keeping the SDC or are you going to sell it as I know of at least a couple of people who may be after a "Bargain" on this antiquated equipment. oh by the way the wording of my post is for the purposes of "Humour" you remember what that is don't you but the question is fair dinkum!!!
It's all a bit of fun to lighten the mood whilst asking a real Question.

Re: GPZ Boffins a ? please
If I owned both SDC2300 & the Zed I would not be parting with the 2300 anytime soon unless I was strapped for cash or the missus was threatening to divorce me.........Hmmmmmmmmm? In that case I might go and buy second Zed.

Re: GPZ Boffins a ? please
Have just sold my SDC to partially fund another GPZ, but we are keeping the 5000 and all its coils.
Will be a few months down the track as I am laid up for a while.

Hi Lee
REDUNANT!!!!!
My SDC2300 is now redundant ......I bl##dy hope it's not
I haven't really done much with mine yet
I am keeping my sdc2300,
It came with cover, nenads lead, battery charger, 1 set of battery's , a speaker, plus 12 months warranty
Price was $2,900
I think it was worth every cent, I have now been able to use three sdc2300 and I like this one
Yep they are all different.
Hey Lee, I know your not happy, but can you please not stir the pot to much.
I see you didn't find much out about the other area, maybe they removed it. But I typed in "download" in the search area, there is talk of a download area, buggered if I could find it though. Maybe that has been removed as well
Then I am not a paid up member.

Hey Jen
Sounds like a good deal, just got to work it now!!!
It's all cool Jen, I have had my little say just expressing an opinion tis all.
I have other opinions I am sure you are aware of read between the lines /past pm/ but that is not for here.
I do believe this forum is going along quite fine, mods are doing a GREAT job.

Re: GPZ Boffins a ? please
G'day Lee,
Not to sure were you got the impression of " REDUNANT", unless you meant to say "UNWANTED"
I'm a 7000 owner myself but still have the 5000 which is what I'll be mostly using in new ground patch hunting,
The 7000 will come out once I hit a gold producing spot, and there's no way in hell the 7000's have covered all the ground,
not even most of the previous detectors have for that mater.
Wish you all the best with the gear you've got, "if it still finds gold it's not redunant."
Cheers Mick

Hey Mick
It was just a bit of humour!! as they say the GPZ is getting the gold that was previously the domain of the SDC.
I was hoping to find a bargain for a mate.
I know exactly what you mean with the patch hunting & as I still use an SD2200d for this job I know full well the importance of working to ones advantages & to me that is working virgin ground with a well balanced easy to use reliable unit like my SD2200 but in saying that the SDC2300 is amazing in the shallow gullies.

Re: GPZ Boffins a ? please
Dont think I'll be selling mine any time soon either as the kids like finding yellow as much as I do and for them its turn it on GB and starting looking , Dont know about the redundant part either might just be a sales pitch ploy to get it cheaper Ahh
