G'day Dave83 and welcome to the forum

I don't know mate, if they are they not saying much about it on here, there is no reason why the ATX won't find gold, Iv'e seen it tested on small and large gold, and it signaled on the targets, it signaled quite well on the small stuff, and not as good on the large piece, which was a bit of a surprise.

My ideas is that they will find gold but not as easy as the Minelab PI machines will, like they say you just have to keep using the machine that you have, learn it and use it where it is best suited.

It is a waterproof machine so it is also good for beach detecting, coins/jewelery etc.

cheers dave

Garret atx Empty garrett ATX - a little bit of luck

Post  rhan2 Sun Sep 06, 2015 11:14 pm

I am new to prospecting and have the ATX. Found 4 small pieces in the last 5 weeks largest of which is 4.7grams

seems easy use. I am off prospecting while my mate is mucking around with his GPX 4500..
