Historical photo's
Hello Ironhide,
Try this site out on the net. It's called Picture Australia from the National Library of Australia. An excellent site for old photos.
Just type Yackandandah in the search box, (page 7 might interest you ).

Scott

Hi IH
This site may be of help, not sure if that's what you're after...plenty of books for sale at cheap prices plus a research request link.

Re: old junction yackandandah
I was born in Yackand I am surprised that you cant find old photos etc. There is an historical society both in Beechworth and Yack so you should be able to access these. Also the museums would also assist.
In the 19902 I put together my family tree in booklet form and manged to get a lot of photos of dredges and stuff for my grandparents and family were dredge engineers.
You may also talk to the PMAV branch there - Bill Gleeson on 0418 307 569
