mines in receivership
can anybody tell me what happens when a mine goes into liquidation? is it possible to be granted permission to prospect there? and how to go about it? can mines dept override the mines innital decission?

I'm not to sure, but if the mine is in receivership you may be wasting your time detecting there

If a company is in receivership, they still own the leases. They are an asset to be managed / sold by the receiver.
I had a heap of View Resources when they went arse up - a week after announcing they were on target to achieve their quarterly production target !
