I've still got mine, & it still works fine with my 2100.
Cut a bit of weight off it by removing the excess fiberglass so that it looks like an 18" spoke mono.
There are a few of us left around that are still finding gold with it.
Cheers

Hi All ,
There were a couple of types. The shiney 18 round Fiberglass one (Also known as the Kevlar Mono)was reputed to be one of the most expensive coils ever made. They run beautifully on sd and gp Machines but no info on how they go on GPX series.I traded one for $190 to coiltek and it was gone in a week. They are still sought after

Re: still useful,or a relic from the past?
There is one in Miner's Den Mitcham that has been there for a while, not sure what they want for it though.

I still use mine (18' shiny Kevlar Mono) with the GPX 4500. Originally purchased with a SD2100.
Found a few small pieces with it, nothing large (blame the operator).
Its smooth finish makes it very easy to use in low grass and bush.
