Johnny the standard DD that comes with is a very good coil, I have dug my deepest holes with it!!!
I do not use it anymore with my collection of mono's but makes a great backup coil and I personally will not be parting with it!
Cheers Pol.

Yeah I will be keeping that coil. I've got a collection of DD coils that I use on my Gp Extreme. Regards Johnny

I've never used any other DD other than that so can't help ya out there mate, but I was always thinking of getting a larger DD for those xtreme conditions. If you decide to offload any send me a pm before you do!

Re: GPX4500 and DD Coils
hi johnny
i think dd's have there place,
what i would suggest is when you find a few targets with a mono in enhance or ss
then put a dd on in normal and try that over the target before you dig.
if you find a realy deep target with a dd in normal in realy hot ground then put a mono on in ss or
enhance and went over it you may get a surprise.

Hi Johnny
What about when you are working near power lines and you have to use cancel mode?
You would need DD coils in this situation.
