which coil???

hi all,
A very simple question.....
my x-terra comes with 2 coils, a "double d" and a concentric...
which is best for beach detecting ??
and a suplementry question ( one for the technical minded)....
in laymans terms what is the difference ????

Hi, igotanewdetector,
I will add the following link to a site that should give you a ballpark idea of the differences. Page 2 is for the concentric and page 3 is for the DD. Scan through the pages and it should explain and answer all you questions. You may find alot more useful info there also.
