NEW TIBOOBURRA CD OUT SOON

I have almost completed a new CD on Tibooburra. This CD will contain all the latest information on the Tibooburra/Mt Brown goldfields and current access. There will be several Google Earth images with pin pointers to show you how to get to some of the harder to find fields.

Lots of GPS Waypoints help you find where we have found gold recently and where we think you should look to find even more. There are directions to one lot of diggings where very few people have ever been with advice on how to find possible patches close by.

This CD contains the most up to date and comprehensive information currently available. The price will be about the value of 3 fifths of one lousy gram of gold, $33.00 including postage.

It will also be up on Ebay soon and available at Coiltek Gold Centre, Miners Den Far North Qld (Cairns) and Miners Den SA.

G'day Jim

We used to enjoy going to Mt Browne, but unfortunately for various reasons there is no longer any access, same for Mt Poole, so how much value is the new CD going to be.

I am not knocking the CD as I have all you other CD's, I would just like to know whether it's going to be of much use getting it?

There are a great many areas to detect other than Mt Brown and Mt Pool. They are still closed as of yesterday but there is hope they may be open again by next season. With this in mind I have included some good areas on Mt Pool and Mt Brown.

My CD details a great many places, some that have seen very few detectors over them in the last twenty years, some that have seen none. And I have included GPS waypoints and Google Earth Images to enable you to find them.

And I must admit I was a little surprised that we found as much gold as we did and where we found it. Don't write off the Common as we found most of our 55 nuggets out there, including Cheryl's 4.2 grammer that was in the middle of a well detected area and only down a few inches.

As most of you know the Corner Country goldfields aren't the place to find that big nugget or even a 50 ounce patch it is where you go to find a bit of gold every day and enjoy the ambience of a truly beautiful place.

CD is now out and I have now heard Mt Brown is open again but haven't yet confirmed this.
