Hi guys and gals, Just starting out and just after opinions on which coil to use. I have an sd 2000 with a 18" monoloop coil and an 11" Double D. From what im reading the larger coil is good for large nuggets at depth. We would all like to get big nuggets but just starting out should i start with the 11". Its my Father in laws detector and hes found gold using the 11". He only uses the smaller coil because its lighter, but rekons hes found gold when others havent but i guess there is luck involved as well.
