The biggest find I had was very close to the cbd of Ballarat , beautiful patch , must have been 20-30 nuggs best being about 3 oz of wonderful shiny gold, talk about sunbakers, problem was the girl behind the counter wouldn't let me keep em , last time I go into the Ballarat gold shop!.

Excellent Panther, Sounds like you starved it, and it didn't confess till it got down to 4.5 oz - what did the little bugger do, lets have it.

My biggest so far was a 2 and a half ouncer found on the ouyskirts of maryborough (vic ) in a so called completly flogged to death area

Some very nice gold there Fellas.
With the amount of deep junk I dig im due for a 5oz + piece sooner than later.
