Was a bugger of a spot in shale and rock and I couldn't dig a wide enough hole so I stopped and started the video a number of times as nobody wants to watch 20 minutes of crap nothingness.
I turned it on again and was just scraping some dirt out from behind a rock that wouldn't budge with my finger and out it fell
Hopefully there'll be a few more at this spot.

Thanks you lot and yep I was pretty chuffed and a few words I'd slap my kids for saying were uttered on the video

Mick, I was using a 5000 with the 11" Commander mono. How deep it was is semi hard to judge as it was at the base of a bank wedged in behind a large rock I couldn't budge.
Because of the shale and over burden I couldn't widen out the hole either. I steadily chipped away at the edge of the rock and tried to dig in behind it.
I was scrapping out dirt from behind the rock with my scoop and fingers and I'm pretty sure it just fell down from where it was wedged.

Very nice, been a while since I fumbled a 2 ouncer, well done. I like how the grass is starting to brown off, the bloody stuff is still growing up this way!!!
