Hi Razgo,
Same problem down in Vic. I went out a couple of weeks ago to a site I went to 12 months ago, back then it was a dust bowl, this trip I needed my slasher and tracktor.

yeah i have to buy myself some of those snake guard protectors for my legs and not to mention a new pair of boots as water just seems to flow in and out of them now through all the holes.

grass is 3x that up in Central Queensland.

well thats interesting. my grass/passpalum was well over 6 feet high recently in a very short time. yet up there the grass moves slower?
I didnt prospect in the grass but did down around the banks. lots of bullets and tin and wire.

So was the road washed out in many places Razgo? Sometimes it has some real nasty cuts across it. The Lantana seems to be getting out of control as well out that way.

Re Warwick Fossicking Area
Hi. A little further on from that area in the forestry the leaf litter is that thick it could be a bit of a problem.
The road was not to bad a couple of weeks ago.

Re: Warwick Fossicking Area [video]
Panther, the road was fine with my tarago. it was raining that day too. couple of puddles but no roads were washed out or anything. I was actually going to video the whole track up but my camera is playing up and doesn't stay on too long. hasn't been the same since i dropped in salt water lol.

Know exactly what you are saying about the cameraRazgo. lol I was lucky though. I dropped one in the waves and had to fish for it. All I did was rub it on my Tshirt to dry it yet it never ever played up. Had it for years then sold it to a mate who still has it.
I have been caught with washouts on that road a couple of times now. Council dosen't check it very often.

That creek looks like it is just aching to be dredged...
