South Atlantic Anomaly??
What is the very dense mass buried within the Earth that causes the South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA)
The SAA is an region of the Van Allen Belt that dips to within a few hundred miles above the surface of the South Atlantic region of the earth. A very nasty high ionizing radiation region that has downed a few low orbit satellites. It is a not so friendly place to pass through on yer way to the moon.
