Had a good find near yankee mine today

Also some good hits near nugget track old blackwood rd side of highway

Was it hear say or was it you that did the finding??

Thanks B, Have never heard of the yankee Mine in the Wombat state Forest. ( being an ex Qld'er and now a South Ozzie)

Would think at being so close to Melbourne that it would be thrashed, but your find makes it not appear so

The remnants of the Andersons timber tramway and the sawdust of the Andersons sawmill can be seen in the firewood cutters' hamlet of Barkstead. The walk also takes in a gold mining dam and remnants of the Barkstead stamping battery

Noted that you registered on 27/03/22 and posted something rather cryptic on the same day and nothing since. 
May I politely suggest that you be a little more informative. We don't need to know exactly where you found anything but your post smacks of someone fishing for a bit of information from others.
Many here are willing to share info but I suggest you want to be the beneficiary of that you also be prepared to share a little more than you have.
