shotgun pellet.
Hi all.
It was a great day to be out yesterday. I spent a few hours in Castlemaine again with Moredeep and a friend of mine. That's not to say that Moeredeep isn't a friend of mine as well. It wasn't until the early afternoon that I finally picked up a piece. I thought it was a shotgun pellet at first but after cleaning it the thing shone like gold, and it was. Unbelievable, about the size of 7 or 8 shot and almost perfectly round. So much so that it rolls around everywhere. It tipped the scales at 0.25 gram.
I also picked up a couple of other things, a snake loop and a copper disc that probably came off some costume jewelery.
Regards Axtyr.

Re: shotgun pellet.
Well done Axtyr. Always nice to see gold & the odd bit of artefacts & the history that surrounds them.
Cheers Kon.
