Somebody to take me hunting for $

Gentlemen. Ive wanted to hunt gold in AUS for a long time.. (Im 60) Ive been hunting gold in SW AZ for abt 35 yrs but always wanted to go AUS. I have a GPZ 7K. I would like to hire someone knowledgeable to guide me
arnd the AUS goldfields for a real AUS gold hunting time of my life. With a real opportunity of finding a few ozs of gold. I would be willing to pay $5-10.000 for a fun experience. Do you guys think this is a possibility??

Im aware of those type of deals available. I don't want to go with a tour/tourist type group or company. I would like to go hunting with a genuine Aussie gold hunter no matter the cost. Mark in AZ

Two things that you have done to damage your chances is your joining date and the mention of money. They bring up the scam alarm to most people or leave you open to be scammed yourself.

Yeah I also thought that might happen. I just dont know how else i could have clearly and concisely made the point that I want to hunt with a regular guy. Obviously nobody is going to take me on a good trip
without some kind of incentive. Im getting older and I figure if I can't make this happen now, it probably never will. I am a farmer and have never traveled. This is the only thing that would get me away from the
farm. I have goldfields virtually in my back yard but the gold is very small. The biggest piece Ive ever found is 10 grams and thats a monster. Most are under a gram. Just trying to get some interest.from someone

Maybe offer to buy the first ounce or two that you find while with them or say open for negotiation. By the way there is not many people who have found a nugget over a quarter ounce that alone 10gm Best of luck with your quest.

Do your research tours are mostly instruction and no guarantee you will find gold gold Is where you find it and if it has your name on it you will find it

I am coming to Australia next year to do some panning pretty much decided to come to Victoria would like to partner up with some one coming for two weeks

Hmm.... I'm thinking I would want to be out in the bush abt 2 weeks to make it worthwhile. I dont think I could detect 8 hrs/day for two solid wks. There would have to be some days to rest?? It would be fun

Mark I would base your self at Maryborough Vic. All facilities are available there,Shops,Pubs,Caravan Park,Hotels and Motels and a Metal detecting Shop. You can drive to most detecting towns within an hour from there. Many years ago I found a 4 Oz nugget near the towns boundaries. A couple of years later I had one of my best days detecting finding a patch where I had 19 Oz before lunch and got another 7 Oz when I took my wife back to the spot after lunch, the spot was within a mile of the town. Don't get your hopes up to high as most of Victoria in the Golden Triangle has been hit hard in the last 40 years. But this area is what set Gold Detecting off, the Hand of Faith really got it going.
