G'day Joe82

For the updates on the 7000, yes you can roll them back, bit tedious but can be done. First you need to download the original software (from ML web site) to you Computer, and then download the 1st update and then the 2nd update, so you have all the software on your PC.

Then by hooking up the cable from the back of the 7000 (behind the screen) and to a USB port on PC select original software from PC and follow the prompts once complete you will need to do the ferrite balance then the normal balance the noise cancel and get the machine running how you want it.

Do your tests, then hook the cable back up to the 7000 and connect to a USB port again on PC, then select 1st update software, and do all the balance things to get the detector running how you want it to do the tests.

Then do the same procedure for the 2nd up date etc etc, like I say a bit tedious but can be done.

cheers dave

Just go to the Mimelab web site and choose Metal detectors and then choose GPZ7000 and then choose downloads and the three downloads are there and also the exchange2 software
