I'm a Newbie here, on this forum, and also largely in gold prospecting. So far I did a lot of research. I even did some gold detecting many years ago, but with no much luck, due to having wrong kind of detector, etc. At present I live in Lightning Ridge opal mining town of my Age Pension. Since I got money to live of, although a bit modestly, I thought I ought to try gold detecting and prospecting for a change. I hope to find info here that I am looking for, as well as I'll be happy to share also my own experiences and knowledge.
