equinox or deus

both detectors in my view are neck and neck performance wise
The deus has a slight edge with its ability to download updates and a better warranty
Which of these detectors would perform better especially on the beach,wet and dry sand
i have a goldmonster and use it for general prospecting,its very good but not designed for the beach.......Mark

I haven't used the XP but have used the Nox with success. From what I've read, the XP won't work under water due to the wireles design and TX fitted in the coil.
The Equinox is waterproof to 3M and has superb ground balancing over the wet sand. The nox works really well on the wet/dry sand and gives the CTX3030 a run for its money.
