BUYER BEWARE Empty BUYER BEWARE

Buyer beware, there are a couple of dodgy minelabs on ebay at the moment, have reported them twice previously and they were removed instantly but have again re appeared, a search says the seller is based in the UK but the listing says based in Sydney, you can bid on them but there's a dodgy looking buy it now panel on the bottom of the description page?, it says bids will be removed and its only buy it now, $1900 for a new gpx4500 seems a tad cheap.

Yep sure is a fake.
The decal says audio tune, not tone!
Also, check the description for all of his items. This seller is a scammer/hacked account. He wants buy it now of $1900 for every item in his store, and there are a lot of items.

The sad thing is that by the time ebay shuts him down he will have collected some nice loot  Evil or Very Mad

Cheers Mick

I should have looked a little harder. Upon taking another look I see it says Auto Tune Laughing Just like it should! I don't think the pictures are of a fake machine.
This looks like an account that has been hacked and then 5000 scam listings put up. They are all expensive items, all with the buy it now BS.
If you check the sellers feedback, there is no feedback for big ticket items like what is for sale now.
And if you check their store you will see how this seller actually lists their items...

Make sure you report the item, you mention that the account is hacked.

Cheers Mick

This same seller has attempted to sell these detectors again at least a couple of times since first reported, but the listings have been removed promptly be eBay and that's a good thing as no unlucky buyer has been stiffed by them, but you have to wonder how they manage to get the listings up under the noses of Ebay in the first place as you would think that they would be watching these dodgy sods?, I am not so sure they are really that concerned anyway as I have seen things slip under the radar before and still remain listed well after being reported more particularly when the item has bids on it, I guess in the end as long as it makes money for them they are happy enough to turn a blind eye if no report is made on it.

Anyway there are more obvious dodgy sales that go on unhindered like the "long range" detectors that are sold, but it seems people must still buy them as they would not be listing them?
