Hello, I am new to this group, I hope I can contribute to this blog, I am a former designer of military clothing and equipment, my current design project is a VLF broadband, full spectrum gold detector with High definition OLED screen with GPS, my prototype is 90% complete, the electronic hardware is 80% complete, the coding is also about 80% complete, as you can imagine for someone who has had no knowledge of electronics to complete a project of this scale has consumed many (hundreds) of hours research, I have utilized my military background in regards to the design and function, only using the highest quality components and making the product as robust as possible.

Any Questions?

Congratulations Goldsniper1 on your project, can I ask why you decided on a vlf design rather than a P.I.

Hi, I got my inspiration from the Minelab GPZ 7000, I was curios to see if I could create something better, I felt that with advancements in micro chips, it should be possible, I am considering a P.I machine also.

My design is actually a hybrid P.I working in the VLF frequency range, many things regarding the GPZ 7000 have been proven and dis-proven by my investigation "ZVT" is one of them!

Hi Jen, Thanks for the greetings, I'm not sure whether this forum is for me, or whether I just need to know how to use it (damn the instruction manual!), I am getting closer to the launch stage of a new detector for gold, there doesn't seem to be much interest, anyway I have a lot of coding to complete!

Take care
