Smash it! ..... Gently

*** I thought this find was worth keeping here in memorable finds.

Hi all, I was detecting a gully last week with the SDC and spotted this large surfaced area opposite the gully. Thought I'd go over and spend a couple of hours plucking little nuggets out of it, looked like fun. Well after the 15th straight bird shot I decided that it wasn't fun anymore, so I beat a hasty retreat back to the gully, bugger that. I jumped onto the bank on the other side of the gully and wouldn't you know it, first target found was this speccie. It's great when you kick the piece of quartz away and the target signal goes with it.






My pinpointer was picking up a signal from every side of the quartz so I figured there was more gold than what was showing on the surface. After a week, the suspense was killing me, so I finally smashed it.
I was gobsmacked by it's beauty.

Very unusual to be in pure white quartz great find.

Das Gewicht ist nichts wirklich im Vergleich zu seiner natürlichen Schönheit mein viktorianischer Kamerad, anders als das, was manchmal in der Übersetzung verloren geht, nicht Sie lieben einfach Google Übersetzer, nice find!

I gotta tell ya the truth deutran, I never really noticed the pure white quartz, I seemed to focus on the other colour..... Don't know why, since they compliment each other. Cheers.
