Standard Minelab 11" DD have they got better?

Howdy, i have been wondering about the coil that came with my gp extreme- was the standard issue 11"dd.

What i am wondering is, would the newer 11"dd coils that come with the GPX4500 be better than the older extreme 11"dd. If so, how much better?
Anyone have insider knowledge or anyone with experience on this one?

I found the new 11 inch DD round GP series coil that comes with your 4500 about 20% better overall,compared to your standard extreme coil. I do believe its really a Commander coil in disguise.

thanks kon. I suspected something like that. any idea of smallest gold size found with the newer 11"dd?

Try 0.1gm on my old 2200d( in hot ground) at about 1 inch in depth and about 1 inch above ground,whilst swinging over small twigs and leaves.I've hardly used it on the 4500 so i cant really say.
