Hi everyone, I need an 11" round mono coil. I have 2 in mind, the 11" Minelab Commander and the 11" Detech coil. Does anyone have experience with the 11" Detech coil? I am not sure which one to buy, any information would be much appreciated. Cheers, Hermann.

Hi there Hermann, I cant help you with your query on the Detech coil but the 11" minelab commander mono has been a ripper of a coil for me.

Good luck out there

What detector are you using? I have found the 11" commander a great coil on my GP 3000, GPX 4000 & now my GPX 4500. Mind you....I am on to my 4th 11" commander mono.

Hi Hermann, They became touch sensitive after a lot of use. I should pull them apart & see if I can fix them. I dont think it would be too difficult.
