New oldfart on the block

Retired; looking for a hobby and some new Mates.
Why did I choose this field? Simple. I cant find a woman so this wont be anything new and therefore easy-as.. 
Purchased a Minelab X terra 305, sieves etc. I decided on the 305 after reading a book which suggested starting out cheap.

I'm from Adelaide, have a now oldish 4wd which has been there, so to speak.
If any of you are also looking for mate/s to go on detecting operations let me know.

Gooday Crackles and welcome to the forum. Interesting hobby this and you should find some like minded people to go out with. Why didn't you use the username "Crackles" rather than "grunt" if you prefer to be called that?
