Minelab commander coil skidplate

G'day all,

Today I have purchased a Minelab 11" skidplate for my commander mono coil and having trouble fitting it on. Is it that difficult to fit it on or have i purchased a dud? Might have to return it to Minersden.

All skid plates should slip over the bottom half of coil with a snug fit.Um,I take it that you have removed the old skid plate off the coil,before trying to fit the new one on? Its either that or they've given you the wrong skid plate.

Hi Kon61, thanks for the advise. Did not realise there was a skidplate on. I always thought it was the lower coil housing and glued to the upper housing. New skidplate fits on nicely. Thanks again, Blacksand
