hi wondering what whipstick is like is it still worth giving a go any info or details would be great only have sd2000 would it cut it thanks Smile

hi fabphil i got 2 nuggets near notleys camp ground australia day weekend i know other people who have found a couple of them near scotsmans rd area hope that helps a bit but can t land you on them just have to try and see what you get cheers Terry

i can t land you on a spot that is up to you to find but remember when you swing your detector swing low and slow and don t try to cover the whole scrub in 10 minutes cheers Terry

thanks terry advise taken i do get a bit carried away and mate im thinking of buying a 3500 and selling my 2000 what do you think is a reasonable price ive only got $2500 to play with really maybe$2600 any ideas thanks What a Face

18 members of our prospecting club ( Bpc) met at Shadbolts picnic area on a Sunday about two weeks ago. No outing Sat. due to total fireban day. 49 bits of gold found but the largest only 2 grams and most only point 2 and .3 Mark from Gold Prospecting Australia probably done the best, as he only walked out and came back with 6 bits. All those bits are gone,never to return. Nearly all members had 5000's and i don't think a 35 would have found them.

18 members with gpx 5000's, I feel outclassed n under dressed when I go out detecting now.

And they only picked up small bits too. But gold is gold.
