plenty of old timber in the old stopes..that could be that old..lot of the decking has rotted ..but a lot of stolls are are still there..in good shape...

sure have been a few times there ...that ground it quite soft like sand stone..think the gold was in small theads of quartz. running through the rock..

not going back into the mine wayne been sold to other ppl we put all that new timber in there after cleaning it out..
