Earn yourself some 'Brownie Points' by cleaning your wife/girlfriends gold rings. Grab one of her lipsticks and wipe a good smear on a tissue. Polish the ring with this, the tissue will turn black with all the crap coming off, Finally a clean-up polish with a clean tissue and the gold will really gleam. I believe the lipsticks had a very fine abasive in them that did the trick. Try cleaning the gemstones with a little gin or other alcohol and a toothbrush. It does a good job of getting into all those hidden areas.

Always good to earn a few 'brownie points' cheers

John

I agree about the brownie points BT, but unfortunately for me, my brownie points have the life expectancy of a piece of sushi left in the sun, about 5 minutes... Sad
