Hi Bren here.
Like to take time to thank all the other members for the warm welcome.
No yellow stuff yet but have found a few coins. The coins I have found are 1841 french silver franc from creswick area, large copper coin/token also in the creswick area and a 1951 sixpence and 1910 thrippence in Marybrough area. There is gold out there with my name on just have to find it.
Hope you guys have found some gold and will let you know when my luck changes.

Cheers Brenden

The coins are a great find Brenden..and being keen to detect regularly puts the odds in your favour of finding gold. There is plenty of gold out there with your name on it mate, just keep up the enthusiasm and time out swinging, and the gold will show.

ATB..Cheers Bill

Well done Bren.Finding a coin or any coin for that matter,on any given day,is considered a rare bonus.Hopefully,it'll be only a matter of time before you lob on to the yellow.

Cheers kon61.
