13.02.12 Water Finds !

First serious water detect i have done although i did cheat, Low tide & tried both sides of our Town Jetty, Sandbars & up to a foot deep in the water for this little haul, 58 Coins for $14.70 ( 4 cups of coffee ), 7 leads, 1 Lure & 1 junk jewelry. Weapon of choice was my trusty Sovereign GT with the 15" WOT Coil, Did find in the heavy target areas that a smaller coil would be better but for area coverage & depth the 15" was the go. Cheers

After some deliberation finally i am pleased to have just received my Sovereign GT
will be assembling shortly , reading & more reading & hopefully report soon on some finds

Congrats Ant, You have got yourself a good detector. No i now use the 15" WOT Coil as my main coil, only time i change back to the original coil is when i have a area that has so many targets in a small area it's easier to lock onto a target in this situation with a smaller coil.
Went back on the beach this am & got 3 pennies, I hafpenny, I Florin, 1 Threepence & 19 todays coins with a value of around $8, Very corroded ladies watch, another lure, 1 large lead & 1 junk ring.
