Some months ago there was a topic in this forum about a large nugget (800oz) that was found in Kalgoorlie earlier this year. There was some sceptics however it was suggested that it ended up in the Melbourne Museum. I visited the Museum today and there she was, a magnificent 23kg for all to see.
The caption said that it was found with a metal detector in April this year,near Kalgoorlie and it was half a metre below the surface. It was loaned by The Pinnacle Collection, brokered by Ausrox Gold. I took a couple of photos but my computer skills are not the best to get them up.
