Rita Bentley (PMAV fame) was today awarded the "Order of Australia" in this years Queens Birthday honours list for her dedication and devotion in protection of and standing for the rights of small scale miners, hobby prospectors and the environment. Well done Rita.
Rita had to stand down as President last year because of ill-health after over 30 years of being part of the PMAV.
