Hi all.
Just found this forum and I love it.
I am the owner of a GPZ700 and a couple of Tesoro detectors and have been detecting since the early eighties.
I have just got back from a trip to Victoria with only about 10 grams of gold to show for my efforts for a total of about 20 bits.
I am based on the Gold Coast and would love to hear from other members and maybe even arrange a couple of outings.
I am about to head to Nth Queensland and hope to find time for detecting while up there.

welcome geoffos ,I detected once in QLD and found it difficult to swing a machete and a detector at the same time. Laughing Laughing
