original gpx4500 v sdc2300

just doing a straw poll here which model is best the original gpx4500 or the sdc2300 please let me know thanks tim

Both have their place, both serve a purpose Tim, with the 4500 having a variety of coil options/timings to suit, for just about all types of gold/ground coverage. The only reason (apart from luck) some prospectors/detectorists do better on the gold front than others, is because they put in a whole lot more research/ground time. There's no magic/voodoo involved here Tim. The gold in the ground aint going to jump in front of your coil as it sees you approaching Tim, you'v got to put in the ground time.
