Looks a good handle, in the hard rock digging it should not jar so much. And will not be as easy to lose with that bright handle.

Yep Bunnings had/have them, block splitter complete, for $22.50 and so I got one dropped the block splitter head off and cut the handle off at 750mm, they start of at 900mm, should reduce the jarring effect on hard ground I reckon.

The call them fiberglass, there is a fiberglass shaft running up the center and then a hard plastic type of coating about 1/4" thick covering over that.

If you look at Dave's hands in his Youtube videos, after digging canyons there is no sign of any blisters.Very Happy

G'day Rob

I use 150kg Araldite and 6mm roll pin which goes right both sides of the pipe collar, it's the same method that I have been using on the wooden handle gold digger picks for about 3 years and works good on them, and after some use with this new model fiberglass type handle I will know if the same method works on them. Very Happy
