Been through the documentation and as I read it VEAC have failed to meet the own obligations of their act in the proposed draft recommendations.

The beauty of detecting in Victoria is that you can spin the bottle and go where ever you like "FREEDOM OF CHOICE "[apologies to DEVO]
No section 40e's nor hundreds of k'S of fencing like some other states.
But bit by bit they'll try and reduce the area's.I had a prospecting buddy who loved coming to VIC for this very reason,lets keep it this way.

Regarding the environmental impact I would like to invite VEAC members to drive through the whipstick bush near Bendigo as I did yesterday.
One cannot see any major disturbance from detecting,even after 40 years of being detected it's virtually unchanged.
In fact it's a tinder box with several centimeters of leave litter covering the ground.
