My Message to VEAC

I'm sick and tired of people in the big smoke making prospectors out to be bush vandals, salivating like rabid dogs with gold fever. Actually the majority are the best bushman you will see who love and respect the bush like its their own back yard.

I'm looking forward to providing further submissions to VEAC as a multi-generational prospector ensuring that the bush has the best protection (as provided by prospectors).

Hi GemQ. Just watched your video. Excellent content and full marks for it. Our hobby needs articulate spokespeople like yourself. Our biggest challenge is green ideology that wants to lock it all up. VEAC is a Government-funded public menace masquerading as a professional community minded organisation. How have the greenies managed to get their hands on so much public funding to pursue their cause? Please, keep up your efforts on behalf of us all. It would be fantastic for many more Victorian prospectors to be active and involved with your efforts, and through the PMAV. Problem is we get ‘listened to’ but ignored when it comes to actual changes. I’m an interstater but have a keen interest in Vic goldfields for obvious reasons! Your comments about how our whole society has been benefited by gold is well made. Trouble is the green ideologues couldn’t give a rats about that because they just don’t care. Keep trying to put the spotlight on their BS and closed minds.
