G'day folks,
Just a quick intro as a new member. Looking forward to reading many a post and stories of great finds. Running the GPX5000 and NF Evo 12" and still learning the ropes.
Always amazed at the work and labour endured by our predecessors and love every minute out in the field.

to the forum JLC. Yes the old timers did it pretty tough compared to our modern detectors, but then again they did have a lot more gold to possibly collect compared to what's still hiding in the ground these days. My favourite saying that I'll quote Kon61 once wrote, "nuggets aren't like potatoes, they don't grow back"....unfortunately
