Re: Gold Digger Picks
And now a large one "Supa Size" pick added so there are 3 sizes now.
The Supa Size has an 850mm long Spotted Gum handle, and the pick head is 420mm from end of point to front of blade and weighs in at around 1.9 price is $140
Both the Supa Size and the Medium size for comparison.

Re: Gold Digger Picks
Looks good Dave but the handle at 850mm is just a tad too short for me, any chance for a 900mm handle?

G'day UNCLE BOB
Thanks for your interest in the Gold Digger Pick, it's difficult to make a change, to keep the cost down it is necessary to buy the handles in bulk and to get a one off handle makes the pick a lot more expensive.

Re: Gold Digger Picks
Hi Dave, last time we talked about the longer pick handle I recall you saying that you would look at doing the 900mm handle.
Just wondering what happened to the extra 50mm?
I've tried one with the 850mm but is just a tad short for me being over six feet.

Re: Gold Digger Picks
Yes UNCLE BOB, I did say that, but the 900mm became 850mm in the end which is just the way it worked out in the end.

Bend your back man!!
Have carried a 300mm for more years than I like to remember and a quick scrape, which is the norm, the target is in the spoon.

Hi Nightjar,
I understand where your coming from.
I like the handle longer because I use it as a support for trekking steep hills as where I go it's not just used as a pick. I'm in nsw where the hills are very steep so it serves me with three things. So this is the reason behind having a 900mm handle.
