New member from Idaho USA
Hi; Joined up the other day and have been reading a lot of the posts and I have to say, I love everyone's sense of humor, you are awesome. I have been prospecting since I was a wee one but I am just now getting into nugget shooting and have lots to learn, so I'll be reading a lot of your posts. Thanks, Les

Hi Mick; We don't get the huge nuggets that you guys can get, but we do get the odd 7 ouncers and smaller. A lot of gold came out of Idaho and there is still a lot to be found!!, and I plan on finding a lot of it myself!!! Cheers to you!!

Hi Mick,
Welcome to the forum.
Do you have a detector?
Plenty information here and if not sure just ask.
Looking forward to some nice photos

Hi Costas and Golden: Yes I do have 2 detectors, I have a GP 3500 with 11" DD Commander coil, 18"X12" Coiltec mono coil and a 16" N.F. round mono coil. I also have a Fisher Gold Bug 2 with all three coils but I am just learning how to use them. I have been dredging and high-banking for years now and have paid back my investment a few times over, but that's a lot of work and the way the US agencies have been going it is getting harder to mine that way so I am going to learn how to nugget shoot and I am going to go out and try to make a living at it. Not looking to get rich, just want to find enpough to pay for my gas and food and anything over that would be gravy. Any suggestions on other coils I should get for my Minelab? Thanks everyone. Les

Welcome aboard Les, I'm new to this forum also. Goodluck with your detecting mate, never know, you might find enough yellow to buy you an airfare to come visit us. I'm fortunate enough to live in the "Golden triangle" in Victoria Au, but am only just starting out, I'm very much a newbie
