Hello to GDPF,

we are a young couple approaching early retirement. We have been into metal detecting for gold for a few years now with limited success.
We have just bought ourselves 2 shiny new GPX 5000's to accompany us on our future expeditions.
Would be very interested in any info anyone has regarding settings for the GPX 5000.

Cheers

BL

Hi bucketlist (& Mrs bucketlist) and welcome to the forum. Plenty of info around so have a look where Jen pointed you too and use the search button at the top also. As newbies to the 5000s, until you get more familiar with all the settings, it might pay to use it in factory preset (FP), in enhanced, with the 11"mono and in fixed GB. They'll cover you for about 90% of the situations and then you can start to "experiment" from there as you become more familiar with it.
Cheers and good luck to you both.
