Whites tdi pro problems
How do I test my tdi to make sure it's working properly? It's an American tdi with a 14 inch coiltek goldstalker on the end it picks up small bits of steel very well ,but not my test piece of gold which is a flat and around a gram . Regards brett

Re: Whites tdi pro problems
I have the TDI pro oz series. But can't answer your question, but what you could do. Do a search for Razorback coils the "Australian dealer" and have a chat to Brian. these not much he doesn't know about the TDI.
Hope this helps

Re: Whites tdi pro problems
I also have an TDI pro OZ series with a 14 x 9 coiltek coil.
It can detect at least 0.1 g nugget in air, so a 1 gm nugget should be no problem.
I don't think the US version should make a difference in air testing, the OZ series is set up more for Aus ground mineralization . I would check that the target conductivity switch is in all or low and pulse delay control at 10us.

Thanks for the reply guys , how does your tdi,s do on gold in the ground ,eg : size of coil to depth of the gold . I bought several different coils from 5x10-24inch round mono and played with the settings using different timing and had the tdi running pretty smooth It may just be Iam not walking over the gold. any advice would be helpful cheers brett

Re: Whites tdi pro problems
I use the coiltek 14x 9, but no luck with the TDI on gold yet. Don't get to go out much , tried a few times around the Lal Lal area, still it always nice to get out in the bush for a few hours.
